BTW, when I listened to that particular Guitar Piece from Yeril oru Odam for the first time (in my school days), I was immediately drawn towards a north-indian RD Burmanish realm.. Its a very common style of thinking by Hindi Composers in my view.. Such lead piece in Harikambodhi-ish scale is their typical trademark that still continues.. Right from "Jai Jai shiva shankar" to the pathetic Discos of Bappi lahari times to "Rukh Jaa.. Oh Dil Diwane" to "Koi Mil Gaya..." to the latest brass sections of "bachna-ae-haseeno" etc..
